Jan,
Yippee for you!!! Feel the sand between your toes and enjoy!
Try not to get suntan lotion on your boa, it will have to be dry cleaned.

Freemom,
Years ago in the back of some fitness magazines a friend loaned me you could purchase cd's with music that if you kept up with the beat you would be walking 3.5, 4.0, etc. miles per hour (each cd was a different speed). Next time you're in a drugstore check out some fitness mags and see if they still have them. I'm sorry I can't remember the titles (and I was smoking then, geez maybe this memory thing isn't all smoking related!). I am an avid walker- good luck, this is a great low impact exercise.

I would never run naked on the beach with a multi-colored boa around my neck (well in cyber space I would but NOT in real life!)

Jan,
I once blew a three year (yes three year) quit in part due to a 20 pound weight gain. I'll be honest, when I started smoking again the weight did come off, but at what price? Those extra pounds certainly were'nt going to give me lung cancer for crying out loud. So far in this quit I've not gained any weight, but even if I do, I will NOT resort to smoking to get it off. Glad to hear you're still smoke free- you are still an inspiration to me!
