Yeah. I thought I should have gotten a refund, since there was a guarantee. I walked right out of there and straight to the store. I'm not suggestible, either, I should point out. I have heard that it does work for smoking, but that it requires multiple sessions, like four, to work.

I don't understand why the body seems to struggle to regulate temperature after one quits, either.

Long story, but I quit once for two years twenty years ago with smokers around me. I decided that I could not use smokers as an excuse to keep smoking, because I was not going to be able to control having them around me. That was before California became very vigilant about public smoking.

I don't see the problem. You quit 6/7/2006. You've gone through many weekends without smoking. This is just one more.

I'm having problems understanding how some people, the stars mostly, are quitting smoking, but still coming down with especially emphysema. Johnny Carson supposedly quit smoking ten years before he died of emphysema. Did he already have emphysema before he quit? How do you get emphysema after you quit? I can understand the mutation of the cells toward cancer years after quitting, but not how you end up with something like emphysema.

You're much nicer than I am. Trying cradle Nicodemon reminds me of that movie where everyone thought they were taking care of a baby, but the baby turned out to be a grown man. I've stopped caring for and making excuses for jerks.

I seem to now want to sleep. The insomnia has ended. So I study and nap.
