I'm back on track and this is another day 2 somke free. Most of the 'stressors' that I allowed myself to react to Thurs through to and including Sat, have been put at rest. Yeaterday, I found out that the lady I love really does love big time. What a stress reducer. This is great Monday and it's going to be an amazing week!

I am actually a Registered Nurse type A personality. I have been helping people since I was 19 yrars old (1974) and worked as a medic. I should know what I'm supposed to do but I'm have a H...ofa time applying it to me. My Dad used to have a saying; 'Don't do as I do, Do as I say.' I have talked with countless patients about health issues on a wide range of topics but when it comes to applying it to me ...well, you know the rest.
I just have to shake myself and wake up. I want to be there for my two great kids. Girl 13 and Son 10.
I will quit for me and for them.

The third time is a charm and you can pull it off. I fell off the wagon last evening, started out today pretty good until 7:00 this evening. I am going to start all over again when I get up in the morning. We both can do this. Let us beleive in ourselves.

I'm a Feb quiter. I have reset my quit day to 2/12/96 as I fell off the wagon Friday night and again Saturday night. Sunday is a whole new day and I'm going to be back on track.

The 'Kick Ash' group from January have started a list of folks in there gourp.
They started with a small list and each person who wants to add their name to the list, copies the existing list pastes it into their reply (Reply to this Discussion) and adds their name at the top. How does this sound to everyone?
Method: Highlight the list of exisiting names - right hand click, select 'copy' then go to 'Reply to this Discussion' - once in the reply window, right hand click again the select 'paste'.
Once you have added you name to the list and any comments you want, select 'Reply to Discussion'
We are now developing our own list of February Quits.
I had to reset my quit date because I've had a couple bad day and smoked. Today is a new day!

I jsut read your entry from 2/10/06. Your story is so refective of mind it's scary. It was almost like reading a biography. I have to be a total non-smoker before March 8th, that's when I see a Vascular Surgeon about my clogged arteries.
They have started a 'February' quiters group, you should check it out as there are a lot of us who have quit is February and are going through simular stages together. The gals and guys there are great!
