"replacement" therapy

Miisyfit hit it (3 its in a row) right on the mark. Idle time is a new found adventure. Based on things I read on this site, I made a list of new things and hobbies that I wanted to experiemnt with. I sort of timephased them so I would have a new consideration at different times during the quit. e.g. 1 week start walking, after 6 weeks start woodworking projects GPW - I also did and still do deep breathing. As a matter of fact, I actually held my breath. Seems to help with CO2 imacts and the lungs certainly benefited. Keep up the great work BJ. Help! Want to quit sooner, but not sure....

good questions - I wore a patch on Tuesday through Thursday....ripped it off on Friday and used the weekend to rest, sleep and relax. Worked for me. I made the decision and just did it. Use the tools on the site and the folks here are incredible in helping and relating to your quit. You can do it!! Why aren't I happier?

the same thoughts hit me every so often but beleive me not like it was during the second and third week. It gets so much better it is like a gift. When I get little down, I hit the exercise routine and I immediately feel better. When I exercise I focus on releasing stress and get in a meditative state. Good going coming here for advice and support!!! Who is exercising?

I enjoy running on the treadmill while listening to audiobooks. The running burns the cals at a nice rate and I get on to other activities soooner than if I walked. I'm so hungry!

when I was actually hungry, I ate. When I was HYPER, I ate, when I was anxious I ate sunflower seeds by the bag. Now I am on WW and can control all of it much better and weigh a little less than before I quit.
