Multi vitamins

Hello,

I was wondering if multi vitamins helped people's anxiety decrease?

I don't eat much and I find that maybe my diet maybe affecting my anxiety. I was diagnosed with iron anemia a few months ago from not eatting properly?

Any one have any success with taking multi vitamins? And anyone have good experience with chamomile or other teas that calms you?

Lacking Motivation

I have lots of goals that I want to accomplish from the questions you asked below. But I find that with my anxiety they are so far from reach.

I feel like my anxiety is stopping me from doing all this.

Any advice?

Anxiousness

I went to a psychsistrist and was diagnosed with illness anxiety disorder or health anxiety. I read up on the disorder and I couldn't be more relieved and agreeable. I thought I had something else and he did say it was not severe all though at times I feel it is. The last three days have been real hard as I get anxious here and there and I feel very panicky but doing my coping and thoughts changing that I learned in this program makes it not go in to a full panic attack although I know one wrong thought or fear it will blow up to a panic attack.

It also was my first day of my monthly visitor so I'm not sure if hormones or menstruated cycle makes anxiety worse.  I thought I've been doing so good untill yesterday.  Yesterday really discouraged me and made me feel like crap all over again. When I drive now I feel like floating and unsteady and it scares me, my vision seems weird behind the wheel, no not sure if its anxiety related.  I also felt fizzy and unsteady yesterday that caused me more anxiety. Now I feel like I'm back to square one and not making progress.

Can anyone help? Are these symptoms of anxiety?  How can they stop?

Anxiety free

Hi Ashley,

That's what I do wrong I tend to dwell on the anxiety and my symptoms I keep replaying the symptoms and feelings and thoughts over and over in my head and google it all the time. Giving anxiety more power than it should. I think that's why my diagnosis of illness anxiety disorder.

I've realized that I need to move forward and accept every symptom every panic and so on... I'm going to wake up and instead of thinking back to my anxiety problems say a prayer and thank god for my blessings, hopefully this will give back my motivation and keep my mind off of my anxiety.

I have times during the day that are good and bad maybe I should focus on the good rather than the bad???

Set back

Hi Ashley,

I agree that you have to experience more panic to practice your coping skills and feel anxious to challenge your thoughts, but sometimes set backs makes me feel no progress and that I'm back to square one.

How do you celebrate failures?

At times I can just pick up the peices and keep going but when the panic lingers and repeats frequently I can't seem to go on without feeling failure.

Thanks Ashley, I learnt from my last failure is what really causes my panic attacks worrying about my health and body. My panic always happens when I worry about feeling weird, and sometimes I know it's becoming psychosomatic. I think way to much of symptoms. And that is what I will talk to my therapist about.

Also because I failed that last panic attack I know now what I did. I didn't try to distract myself I kept thinking about what I was feeling.

It was a good lesson to learn and with this we learn something new about them. Also it helps that you feel these so when It happens again we can really believe tht nothing is wrong and let the feelings pass.

How will you know your cured or getting better from panic attacks?

Anxiety free

I've been doing good with homework. I do log all anxious thoughts and panic attacks.

It helps to look back and see the progress.

Anxiousness

Since yesterday I've been real anxious. My kids want to go an amusement park today and I feel real anxious about it while before I never would of thought about anything but memories and fun with my kids!

I'm not sure what to do and why I feel this way?

Is exposing yourself and living your life normal like you didn't have anxiety the key to overcoming it and forgetting?

Anxiousness

I did go and had a great time! I felt anxious a few times but I used my coping skills to make them unimportant and it eventually passed. Had an awesome day. I now understand that everyone has anxiety. It's how you manage is what matters

My goal for the week is to finish my job coz my last day is Thursday with minimal anxiety, meaning I want to try to keep it low, so it doesn't lead to any panic attacks. And if I do have one to not get discouraged and keep going.
