Thank you for sharing Jakeland. I am sorry to read about your physical symptoms though. That sounds unpleasant! But I am glad you have been given a clean bill of health. That must have been a relief!

Let us know what you think of the website and text program.

I have terrible bowel issues in over the last year of drinking. Blood in my stool, pain in my belly ect. Booze is a killer phyically and mentally. Thankfully I have been given a clean bill of physical health and I am working on the mental thing, sometimes I think I am still crazy lol.
I will for sure check out the website, anything I can do to help the still suffering alcoholic I will do because it keeps me sober.

Hello,

Overuse of alcohol can increase your risk or worsen certain health conditions. One potential problem is Ulcerative Colitis (UC). UC is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes long-lasting inflammation and ulcers in your digestive tract.

Evolution Health (the company that created the Alcohol Help Center) has recently created a new website and text messaging program that is intended to act as an interactive coach to help those with UC. It is free and there is no obligation - you can stop the program at any time. As you are all valued members of the Alcohol Help Center, we would really love to hear your feedback on the UC website and text messaging program. If we could get a discussion going that would be ideal! Please help us out by offering a bit of your time and feedback.

Please post your thoughts in this thread. To access the site go here: www.UCandMe.ca. Also, use this DIN # 02399466.

Thanks so much!
