Do you sometimes feel a strong urge to drink? This craving may come our of the blue or it may appear predictably, in a certain location or situation. As cravings often feel like anxiety, you may crave when you get anxious. This can also happen when you are bored, stressed or angry.
Here’s a list of some alternatives to having that drink:
1 – Delay: Rather than drink immediately when the urge hits, delay your drinking for as long as you can. Sometimes when you do this, the urge to drink will pass.
