Well, here I am. No cigs in 6 days. This weekend was better than I thought it would be. My son had a footaball game , then a team pizza party, then his own birthday party. Cigarettes? Who had the time?

Okay, I am happy for the company. I will be thinking "Jan and Sparky are going through this with me". I will keep posting and checking on everyone's progress. Dee

After 22 years of smoking, tomorrow is the first day of my new life. I will never smoke another cigarette. I have had several quits before, usually every 5 years there is a serious attenpt. I once quit for two years! Still can't believe I started back. I have my patches, gum, hard candy.... I have plans to occupy my time.... I am trying to change my paradigm from "I am not looking forward to this" to "This is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself".

Dear Dee, Congratulations on taking the first step. I too smoked for a long time, 32 years, and look at this as an opportunity to have a second chance. Just remember that you can do it... We are here to help each other along. Look forward to seeing you post. Maria :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 39 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 876 Amount Saved: $156 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 15 Mins: 40 Seconds: 40

Good morning, Dee. Welcome aboard. So its Dee, Sparky, and Jan going smoke free today. Any other takers? Come on guys, if you're smoking out there, give it go and quit with us! The more the merrier. Dee, take this one day at a time, one situation at a time. And if the going gets tough, go online and post. Lots of great support and help here. We'll do this together, OK? Cheers and good luck, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: $0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0
