Offered a cigarette after 2 1/2 years as a non smoker!!!!!

13 years ago 0 242 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I didn't think anybody ever offered someone else a cigarette anymore....especially now at 10.00$ a pack in Canada. I remember when I was younger, like 30 years ago, everybody would offer cigarettes at a dance, at a bar or just having coffee with friends. Seems like everybody use to smoke.....Thank god we can't smoke in public places anymore....here in Canada you can't even smoke in your own car if you have children in the car....and that is great for the kids.....

Good for you Jan58  I bet it feels good to say NOPE to a cigarette.

No one has offered me a cigarette yet, but I've had people ask me for cigarettes, and it has been good to tell them that I do not smoke.

Isn't it so great to be able to do that Jan?!

I well remember the time I first said "No thank you, I don't smoke."  The words sounded so loudly in my head, though no one else new their importance.

Hope you enjoyed your reward and your anniversary meal.

Love Lolly.

Thanks guys, its still nice to have the support behind me!!!!
Kaiser, you raise a good point.  I think I've sort of forgotten about rewards, and that shouldn't happen.
I was offered the cigarette at my son's wedding on Saturday, and today my hubby and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary!
We're going out for a nice supper tonight...but I think I'll treat myself to something else for declining a smoke!  I really do love being smoke free!!!!

Thanks everyone,
Love,
Jan
