One of the first things I said when I got here was that I had never asked for help or support in my previous quits & I wasn't all that comfortable with it (I'm from Western Canada, we don't much ask for help) but right away I felt so welcome & it's been incredibly helpful going through the old posts. Also, amazing that long-timers like Penitent, Phil & Butterfly Swimmer as well as others, hang around for newbies. I know I'm gushing more than any self-respecting Canadian should but this has just been so awesome for me. I want to come back & help newbies too, after I have a zillion days on my metre.
