Thanks for the feedback guys. I really needed to read your posts. It makes me feel better. I know what I'm experiencing is normal. I feel like right now I've ordered the happy/crabby combo. And yes, I've had it supersized!!!! Happy, crabby, up, down, just like Penguin says. This too shall pass. Thank goodness for all of you wonderful non smokers!!!! Have a good one, Cheers, Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 674 Amount Saved: $198 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 40 Seconds: 20

Although I'm very excited for 3 smoke free weeks, it hit me, that with hubby and son working today, and daughter away for the weekend, I'm the only one home(without a car today), and I'm BORED stiff!!! Sure I could be doing things, and maybe I'm crabby today, because I sure don't feel like doing any housework!!!! I've watched tv, emptied the dishwasher, posted here, and now I'm really having to force myself here to get the vaccuum out. I'm so happy to be quit, and I'll be even happier when the moods and emotions stop the rollercoaster ride they're on! Ah well...part of the quit I suppose. Cheers, a very happy/crabby Jan My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/13/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 21 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 649 Amount Saved: $189 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 10 Mins: 23 Seconds: 45

I'm not in blah week, but I've had the blah's the last day or two.... Perhaps, Jan, we should crawl under Wendy's blanket 'till Dutch's sunshine and good cheer reaches us! Jan & Penguin, Welcome to what is otherwise known as blah week. A week when you've become tired of fighting and the nicodemon is taking advantage of your fatigue. Make this a weekend all about yourselves. Let the housework go for one day and pamper yourselves. Danielle ________________________ The SSC Support Team

Like you said, "This too shall pass" just find things to do and it'll be alright :) Just don't feed into the temptation, keep strong!

Go with the flow. Sometimes down time is just what we need. Be good to yourself during this part of your quit and allow yourself some slack. If you don't vacuum today it will not be the end of the world. You body is healing and sometimes you just need a break. Kick back on the sofa with a good movie and call it a reward! You are doing great. The emotions are tough to get through (trust me I know!) but you can get throught them one day at a time. Deal with each day as it comes. Enjoy the good days and do whatever it takes to get through the bad. All part of the journey. You are doing Awesome! I am in your time & space today. I feel exactly the same way. One day up, one day down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down. Whoa - I'm getting dizzy just typing it. Remember HALT. I am refusing to feel guilty for going and lying down on my bed every 15 minutes. It's what I need to do. The rest of the time I keep telling myself to walk, raise my arms, blink my eyes, and BREATHE. The end of this day will soon be here and we will still be FREEEEEEE. Right on - how cool is that!!!!
