I took wellbutrin, without the patch. It worked ok for me. Hi folks We need some advice. Our friend, Jan58 is starting her quit on Saturday. She is feeling really good taking Zyban and is smoking alot less. She was planning on using the patch and Zyban but now she's not sure if she should do this, if she should not do this or if she should use a lower dose patch. What have other people done? What's worked for you? Zyban AND patch or Zyban without patch. I agree Jan, stick with the plan. I used wellbutrin and the patch on the day i started my quit. I had cut back everyday on smoking and on my quit day I was down to my last one. After that I put my patch on. I started on the 21mg, wasn't sure if i should start at less, but i figured its probably still less than I used to smoke so I did start there. Still quit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 152 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,281 Amount Saved: $595.84 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 18 Mins: 57 Seconds: 23

Jan Stick with your plan. Don't start fiddling with it. If you were going to use a particular dose of patch keep to that. Give it some time and then make the adjustment. I am watching. Give those lovely girls a big hug, do you have snow. My beagle loves snow.
