I'm glad to hear you are doing good today Lady. Sometimes it is hard to make rational decisions when the heart is involved. I understand. (((hug))) I agree with Cobenfan about sending it upstairs for review. (Great way to put it. Cute.) Lady, I'm with Shevie on this one. Nobody has the right to make you feel like this, whether relation, friend or stranger. You have achieved so much in getting this far - don't let an unreasonable attitude come between you and your quit All the best Mr Ed :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 120 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,618 Amount Saved: 900 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 2 Mins: 30 Seconds: 1

He is probably jealous that you had it in you to quit and he doesn't think he could do it! Even though we all know that is a load of bull!! Hang in! Hi Lady, It's really hard to be a great daughter sometimes, but you are. You're also doing a fabulous job protecting your quit. The answers will come when you send it 'upstairs' for review. I know you'll stay strong. We're here if ya need us. Shevie's response had me laughing real LOUD (there's no laughing that loud in the land of the cubicles!!!!) Which just makes me laugh even more...... CobenFan

:8o:  :8o:  :8o:  Dad went to Illinois to visit relatives and was gone for 8 days. My 19 year old daughter also went away to work for the summer at a camp 4 hours away. For the past week it has been just me and the boys and it has been wonderful! No yelling, no screaming, my head didn't spin at all and we have had a lot of fun together. Today, Dad returned. Along with him came the cigarettes. He is on the deck again, back door open, smoke bellowing into the house. YUK! I close the door, he opens it, I close the door, he opens it. My head is beginning to spin again. Not only that, the fussing has begun, the yelling, the chaos, and the tension. It's throughout the house now. I WANT MY SMOKE FREE PEACEFUL LIFE BACK! I'm ok Breaking free. This issue with my dad has been on going since I quit. Sometimes his actions make my quit difficult. The constant reminder of smoking I guess. I don't know how people with smoking spouses do it. I couldn't handle it. I go back and forth with the decision of asking him to get an apartment or continuing to have him stay with us. There are benefits to having him there. They just don't really outweigh having him close by in his own place. The biggest issue is he would be crushed if I asked him to move...so I don't. Deep Breath.
