H, Throw it out! Having the pack of cigarettes is just a reminder and a tease. You need to be completely rid of the cigarettes. Stay Strong, Melanie __________________ The SSC Support Team

It was tough. I even went out and bought a pack of cigarettes on Friday. I got home and decided to wash my kitchen floor before having the cigarette. Then I decided to visit my mom, then I decided to have lunch. After lunch I decided I could have a short nap. I woke up 1 1/2 hours later and it was time to pick up my son at school. Before I knew it, the day had passed and I did not have that cigarette. I still have the pack, unopenned. Should I keep it or throw it out?

Here's a Blue Ribbon for you H. You made a good choice not to smoke. I agree with the soak them and destroy them. Or as Butterfly Swimmer likes to say make a list of 20 things that made you stop smoking and take them out 1 at a time after reading each reason and destroy them or imagine disemboweling or decapitating Nicodemon. Just Say N.O.P.E. Hi H. First things first. THROW THEM OUT!! NOW! IMMEDIATELY! That is just too much temptation to have in your house, I don't care how strong someone feels. Secondly, It's great that you kept putting off having that cig. I noticed the words you kept using were "I decided". You're right, only you decide whether you will make this quit stick. Stay Strong redrosie By the way, what day are you on? I'm a bit late on this one but how about you empty them all into a glass and fill it with water. Leave for about 30 mins and then take a good long sniff................... Congrats for not smoking! Glad you decided to distract yourself!!!! THROW THE PACK AWAY!!! Rip it to shreds so there is no way you can go digging in the garbage for it, don't even put it in y7our own garbage goto another garbage!! The last quit attempt I had i went digging in the garbage for the pack i threw out, I thought I had broken each cigarette but I had one in the pack and i smoked it!!!! Not good. remind yourself it won't taste any good! The fantasies better than the reality!!! H, Now THAT's how it's done! Awesome job. Keep it up. :) Oh yeah, ...definitely soak 'em in water and throw 'em out.
