Myth or Fact?

Members,

Myth: Certain situations cause anxiety attacks.

Fact: Sometimes it may seem like panic is caused by certain situations or feelings (eg. socially, on a plane, in a crowd, having chest pain, etc.) Although it may seem like that it is the situation that causes the anxiety; it is the way in which a person reacts to the stimuli which determines the anxiety and the severity of the anxiety.

What situations provoke you to become anxious and why?
