Hi. I am Khris. And I am a panic-holic. January of this year was so bad I was sure every night I was dying. Feb. I got on medication and have never looked back. I also found comfort in the scriptures and often repeating to myself aloud.."I am not afraid. There is NOTHING to fear" over and over again..because really, there was nothing to fear. It was just me freaking out. I would do this nightly and it was a difficult struggle. I finally did get on medication and I am thankful for it. I still work on the panic through the program and reading but I am nothing like I was earlier this year.

dear Axtremgurl I know what you are going through with this agrophobia, i too suffer very badly with it. for me, its worse than the panic attacks itself. The best advice i can give you is to take it slowly, pick something that isnt too duanting for you, and stick at it till it becomes easy. its all too easy to try to do too much at once and for that to scare you into giving up trying. Its all about confidence, you have to build that up slowly, not run before you can walk. you also have to be honest with yourself and tell yourself what you can do right now, and what would be too hard at the moment. dont beat yourself up because some things seem too hard, you will get there, it just takes a little time, and lots of practice. I spent months hiding in the house, too scared to go outside. that is until i practiced sitting in the garden for an hour, then two, then moving on from there. now i'm able to go for long walks with ease. Still some things i cant do, but you have to focus on your achievments, and just push yourself just a little each time things seem just that bit too easy. not an easy thing, this agrophobia, but it can be beaten, as i'm sure you will beat it also. Best wishes Mudslinger uk

Nikole, Thank you for posting with us today. This is your first step. Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. Or online support group is very knowledgeable and supportive at all times. Post anytime! Hope this helps, Josie

Hi My name is Nikole.I am 23 yrs. old and I've been suffering from panic attacks since I was 15.It's only gotten more extreme 4 me these past four yrs. It's so hard to leave and goto the next town over.I totally freak out wanting to go back home. It's hard for me to just do it.I've only went when I was made to go.And it was very hard for me then.I've been reading books tht are encouraging for me,yet i feel my most comfort comes from reading the bible psalms and proverbs. So if anyone has found help somewhere please let know.Whatever it is, I just can't keep on like this.
