Use the following techniques during depression, and see if they work.
1. When you are want to sleep the whole day, try to do some activities for one minute before you lie in bed.
2. When you are sleeping in bed, try to get up and do some activity for one minute.
3. Any doable activity is good enough. e.g. do some stretching, have a cup of tea, wash your face, talk to a friend etc.

I find keeping a journal really helps me to express myself. Find a way to express yourself, it really helps.

It sounds that things are a litle challenging right now. many people on this site have expressed similar feelings so know that you are not alone.
Have you started the online program yet? I recommend that you start session 1. Take it slow at first and reread if yo have to...some things make more sense the second time around once you have had time to reflect.

Hello, I'm Katie. I've been a member on the panic center site for a little while, but I've found myself experiencing a much heavier depression since I started an internship about a month ago. I can't tell if the anxiety feeds the depression or vice versa, but I find myself weeping for hours at a time, and I have a terrible time sleeping nights before I have to be at work early. When I have days off, I just want to sleep the whole day away. I thought maybe joining this site would help me work through some of this sadness and despair. I feel trapped. But I have found these forums so helpful already, and I am hopeful that I can overcome this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
