Hello ~m,

Be sure to remain focused on your goals. Protect those goals like they are something precious and delicate. They need to be worked on frequently and taken care of. Work through the program, use your coping mechanisms and post often. We are here for you.

Quote of the Day:  To get what you want, STOP doing what isn't working.- Dennis Weaver

BUT..... But..... but....  it WAS working.  It was working just fine.  I WANT to not feel so bad, so sad, so lonely, so depressed... Alcohol offers a quick solution to all that.  When I'm drinking I don't care..  That part is so  great.  Really it is.  NUMB is good!

Except when it wears off and I have to drink more and more and more and then those darn side effects kick in and my brain cells die, and my head wants to break apart in the mornings and alcohol becomes the largest drain on my budget...

OK maybe that isn't what I want.  Maybe the drinking isn't really working so well.
