List of Good Things That Have Happened Recently

Sorry, just one more good thing.  I went and bought my 649 and Super 7's today (I can't resist the possibility of 48 million dollars) and the beautiful, wonderful, intelligent woman at the till asked me for ID, wow, she made my day.  So I had to brag and I know everyone here will understand what this means.

Diva, good for you.  That is a long list.

I am hoping this catches on, I was sort of thinking of this as a brag list for everyone because I know even when we have our really bad days, we have something positive that occurs.  Sometimes it takes alot of thinking (even that is a positive) and going through all of the negatives to come up with something positive and even if it gets your mind off the negative for 1 second or 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 month etc.  I think that is a big positive.

I will leave you all with my positives for the week, hubby got new sleeping pills (so maybe he will be able to sleep the whole night in bed with me rather than on the chair), I had a bath last night and was able to concentrate for 1/2 hour to read my book (historical European smut, nothing better than to live a fantasy life in another time and another place/country even if for a few minutes).

Have a great weekend and I hope to see some more posts.

- I spoke to my dad and he is ok with me quitting work. so all the people I love most are on board with me and supportive.
- My breakfast tasted delicious! ( I pretty much ate dessert for breakfast lol! Fruit Loops!)
- I have a great book to read!
- My couples therapist appointment went great yesterday
- My husband still thinks I am sexy (after 12 years that is not bad)

hi my kids got ready because it was fete des neiges at school...
and the litter ... well i am game for severe punishment and was going to put the over flow in their rooms!  Hey at 10 my son is old enough to remember that HIS cat needs a clean toilet or will use his closet (laundry on the floor hides the urine and stools) as as a toilet!

and my daughter is ocd for rules...

Hi Guys,

This is great, let's keep it going.  Awesome kids, sexy legs, cuddles with hubby (that's the best), what next, a smile, two days without crying?  It may happen.

Let's see for me, my husband saw the ortho today, good news the healing is almost complete (after 2 years).  He still has to lose weight before he can go back to work, but we are working on it.  Me, I got to sleep in (I had to drive my hubby to the doctor), appointment took so long that I couldn't go to work, so day off yay!!!!!!

This list is open for everyone, members and health care educators, I feel if we can all put a little something good in when it happens that maybe the list will make someone else smile, giggle or do something otherwise not characteristic of this awful disorder.

My son and daughter realised they forgot the litter last week and completely emptied both boxes this morning and put everything fresh.
Then washed up and got ready for school on their own!

-I waxed my legs lol!
- I get to see my dad on Friday with my brother.
- My house is finally getting clean.
- I have loving people around me to help and support me (my mum, my husband, my dad, my friends, my therapist...)
- My husband has a nice new job and he seems to like it. It seems to be good for his self-esteem.
- In the last two weeks me and my husband have been doing much better. He has cleaned the house with my mom's help and has helped me keep it clean. I think he has been doing most of the work! He has been super supportive of me! He even cuddles with me more!
- My two cats are super cute and loving and they seem in good health and spirits!

I thought I would start a list of good things that have happened recently (obviously, hence the title).  I am hoping others will add to the list (big or little, ie. big - graduation, wedding etc. little, woke up alive this morning etc.).  When something new and good happens, I will add more and when someone else posts, I will read it.  I just want to see if positives are contagious.

One rule, no negatives, positives only.

Well, I found out last week that my husband doesn't have prostate cancer and my father's prostate cancer was completely removed with the prostatectomy, I have not cried in 24 hours, got my nails done on Saturday, pretty white tips with pink gems and I will buy a 649 ticket (by Wednesday) for 39 million dollars (its mine this time, but I will share with others who have the same numbers ).

Let's keep this going.
