Here I go again!!!

I am positive that I will make it this time! I can't even begin to count how many times I have tried to quit over the last 2 years. I just spoke with my doctor yesterday and she gave me a perscription for CHANTIX, does anyone know if it helps? I have picked my start day for 3/23/07, you need to take the pill for at least 7 days before you quit. No, I'm from Houston, TX! I just started the Chantrix, I took my 1st pill with a big glass of water as instructed. I am really concerned about the dreams/nightmares that I have heard of people having. Any other wierd feelings or symptoms? Tomorrow will Be the Day

Well, ya'll sure made me feel better about myself. I have no energy and find myself sitting in front of the tv and the next thing I know 2 hours has gone by. Normally or should I say previously, I could not sit still for more than 10 minutes, I would be constantly jumping up and doing something. I bought tomato plants 2 weeks ago to put in the ground, well I finally got the holes dug after 1 week and the tomato plants are still sitting in the table... maybe this week they will make it into the ground? It takes all day to clean the house, that should only take 3-4 hours. I know that in the long run it will be worth it, but it sure is frustrating in the short run! here again

Rhona, Good decision! You will find a lot of helpful resources here. Make sure that you use all of the tools that are available, especially theworkbook. Are you using any NRT's or are you going cold turkey? I'm using Chantix but the biggest part of quiting is mindset! You have to really want it! I should know, this is probably my 10th (maybe more) attempt. Good Luck to ya! You can do it! T.G.I.Q (Weekend Parade)

Wishing a fun and safe weekend to all! It's going to be hot and humid here all weekend, but will try to get some gardening done. Not one of my favorite things, but someone has to do it! I have tried to pay the grandchildren to pull weeds, they fell for it one time and now they hide!
