Hi everyone
I am new here and am here because I wish to quit smoking. Aside from the cost, my reason was due to health. I have asthma, I can no longer go upstairs to tuck my little girls in at night. While I realize that my asthma will not be cured, I do know that in time, my lungs and health will slowly improve. I quit smoking on Jan. 1 2008, but had a minor slip up, I took a couple of drags off my hubby's cigarette. I feel quilty. Am I to weak to quit? I am using the Thrive chewing gum. I am here for support from others trying to quit.
Have to go for now, the computer and smoking go hand in hand.
Thanks in advance
Tina

Nice to meet everyone and thank you so much for the support and encouragement. Since my first post my hubby has started smoking outside for me and I have been avoiding all triggers known to make me smoke, including the computer :)
I have been 3 days since I have smoked :)) 3 days with just one minor slip when I took a drag off hubby's cig.
Yes, I have 6 kids, 3 boys ages 17, 15, 14, and 3 girls ages 13, 10, and 4.
I am off to do some more reading :)
Thanks again everyone.
Tina
