Hi everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the site and to support groups. I have tried to quit many times in the past without success. not having much support was difficult, nobody knew what i was going through. i've been reading here for the last couple days and i have gotton alot of inspiration from your posts. I am working on day 2 and its going good. I had alot of craves this morning, as that is the time i get the worst craves. I am taking Chantix...i have heard it has a great success rate. this site will be great to keep me accountable. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. I AM going to do it this time!!!

WOW!!!! this is a great place. thanks for all your support and encouragement! i've been reading alot here and it DOES help to know that i'm not going through this alone, and to have kelly and doodles as quit buddies, i'll be stickin' close to you. i am in awe of all the people that have longtime quits here...i'll be there too!!
Today went good. after my first initial cravings of the morning, i was fine until i got out of work. the craves hit again and i took a nap to get through it...it worked!! whatever it takes, right??
i'm so glad to be on this journey with all of you...thanks again!!

hey Brinat...quit bud!!
today was a good day. i kept myself real busy. it helps not to obssess on the fact that i am not smoking. the thoughts do come but i'm not thinking about it all the time. that frame of mind has really helped me on this quit.
you're doing great Brinat...lets keep it going!!
