Just like any smoker can quit-- at any age (regardless of how long one smoked)

Glad 2have ya here funk. Once it 'clicks' in your head quitting gets alot easier doesn't it? Stay focused on the bad days and you'll be fine.
Once I got the worst of the withdrawals/depression behind me it felt like "being let out of prison" in many ways. I like NOT smoking. I don't feel deprived of anything. It's a huge weight off my shoulders. I have a young son and can relate to your emotion in that regard too. Again, I'm glad you found the place~welcome!
