New & Glad to be Smokefree

Hi Aim - I am new to this forum too. Glad to hear you are having such success with Zyban. I used a different method to quit, but have been smoke free for almost a year now. I smoked for 35 years, 1.5 packs a day or more. I'm curious are you having any side effects, using the zyban? Also, how is it doing in diminishing the cravings? I still have a craving every now and again, but it goes away pretty quick.

Hello, I?m New Here

I think that is true if you are using the same method every time. Some methods make it harder than others to quit. I tried Chantix and actually smoked more, because of the nightmares and not being able to sleep for 2 weeks. I think everyone is different some methods work better for others. I found my method 9 months ago - haven't had a cigarette since. I didn't have the nasty side effects and I feel great.

Rosy,
I wish you all the luck in the world. It does get easier. I have been smoke free for almost a year. It's amazing how much better you feel and how much you realize it controled your life. truly a demon if there ever was one. What method are you using to quit?
