hey jamet congratz on 16 days. Remember to take this one day at a time. I understand this is a difficult day for you and it will NOT be the only one.you have to accept that and keep your dedication. It goes easier and easier with time..cravings become less and less and last shorter and shorter and their intensity too. there will be days that you will barely think about smoking and when you think agh! this is over i did it! cravings will come back at full speed at times you least expect. but its how you manage it.do you say scrue it and go buy tobacco from the store or do you dig deep for determination like I did and stay dedicated. its just 5 minutes or so and then you forget it. Thats what i did and i lasted 40 days!! i didnt even think about smoking anymore believe it or not i hated it but something stressful happened to me and in a moment of despair i went, bought and smoked..i felt bad afterwards..i mean really really bad but i keep on smoking 2 days now. Did i feel better? NO,i felt worse. i came out as a looser and not a winner. I could be on day 42 now,but instead i am on day -1 before i quit again. But i dont quit trying.
Please keep up.do something,go hiking, make a sandtwitch, sleep, dance, clean your house do something and then its easy again.. i hope to hear from you tomorrow on your 17th day smoke free! if you win it we all do! sorry for long post :S
