Understanding Social Anxiety Part II

I reluctantly go to  a church service, since a former work colleague attends at that time, so I avoid it.

He wasn't there last week, and I kept looking over, as though I wished to be disappointed.  He didn't treat me badly, but I was in a toxic workplace I'd rather forget.

As we’ve seen before, depression and anxiety can result in many other issues.  People with depression or anxiety often feel that they’re different from others and/or that people somehow can tell that they’re “different” or “not right”.  As a result people with anxiety or depression are often on the lookout for evidence that others are rejecting them.

Have any members here felt this way?
