Balance in Everyday Life Modelled at the Doc´s office

Hi Ashley,
I find the inertia or momentum of moments during the day keep me in activities that don't allow me to be "selfish".  It's not as easy as I wish it would be, since I have to juggle caregiving, and the demands can be unexpected.  Being isolated isn't helpful too.  Today for example, I went to the gym, and didn't recognize anyone, so I was silent from departing at 11am to 1:30 pm.

It sounds like balance would add a lot to your life.

What's stopping you from adding balance into your life now?

How could you add more of it?

Hi Ashley,
I think it would level my mood swings, and energize me, so I could live a more satisfying life.  The wait at the doc's office was 2 1/2 hours, but it actually seemed enjoyable.  Each day seems to be long and dreary, though

Great discussion topic Hugs,

How would it help you if you were able to add more balance to your life?

While at a doctor’s office, television monitors interleaved comedic clips with medical information, and it lead me to realize how important “balance” is in my day, week and month to maintain my health. I wonder if others have successfully built in leisure, since I find i’m more vulnerable to setbacks if I’m stressed from not resting.
