Welcome Beny,

I encourage you to speak to your doctor or pharmacist about quit smoking aids that are proven to be effective in helping people quit. There is no evidence that e-cigarettes help people to quit smoking. There is actually more evidence that they reinforce the addiction. That's great that you are attempting to quit though. All steps towards quitting are positive.

Hi Beny,
Good for you for giving up real cigarettes after all those years. Are you using the e-cigarettes to help you stop smoking altogether, or did you switch to using them instead? I hope you are using them as NRT because they are still bad for your health. Have you tried to quit smoking before? The craving is something that you need to learn to deal with, without going back to smoking real cigarettes. There are a number of things that can help you fight the urge. Read through these forums and you will learn about some things that can help you out.
Stay strong.

I have taking on the e-cigaret and I stopped smoking cigarettes for 15 days today after 38 years of smoking. I feel much better but I am craving a real cigarette.
