Hey Caligirl!!!

Welcome to the SSC!!  I was like Karren and practically lived here during my spare time the first few months!!!  Not only did I learn so much from the advice, I also met some fantastic quit buddies!!!   Also, being here kept me distracted, which was what I needed to not smoke!!  Visit often and read and learn as much as you can about this terrible addiction, as knowledge is power and will help you to better deal with that stinking nico-demon!!!    Remember to post when you need help!!!  We'll be here for ya!!

Caligirl- welcome, and well done on your quit so far. I used the patches and yes the first few days are a bit odd, but bearable. I think if you follow the programme of the patch you are using you will succeed. Also come on this site often, read and post or just read, whatever you think might help. I practically lived on here the first few weeks as I felt as though it would stop me falling through the net and it did.
Glad you're here with us and we look forward to sharing the journey with you.

Welcome to SSC Caligirl!  Welcome Bryan as well.
We're here to offer as much support, help and guidance as we can.  One day at a time is the way to go at first.  Don't look too far ahead, and load up on your coping tools and distractions!
Congratulations, you've made an awesome decision.

Cheers,
Jan
