Lucy,

Yes you are right using an inhaler is definitely better than lighting up a cigarette!
Give it a try, as you know we are here to help and support you along the way.

Hi Lucy and welcome to SSC. Lucy, I didnt use the inhalor I used Nicotine replacement patches and they worked for me  but as you so rightly say, they wouldn't work for everyone.
Try the inhalor and see how it goes for you, its had good reviews here and your experience shared may help others. If your not happy with it come back here and get other suggestions from other members-theres lots of alternatives to help you on the road to success . Good Luck Lucy hope to hear from you agan soon!

wow Tresa - nice stats!  Thank you so much for your input!

Breanne - no, I haven't spoken with my doctor about the inhaler, but he DID tell me to quit...either using NRT or cold turkey - I figure it's better to use an inhaler than to light up a cigarette!

I choose life - I've been reading through posts and in my opinion you should be applauded for getting right back to your quit.  I quit for 3 months once, had "just one" one night at the bar and then bammo, I slowly made my way back to smoking full time again :(
I'm thinking I might pick a quit date within the next couple of weeks and try the inhaler...
