Work...and it sucked...nothing new there but was unable to check in today until now...I didnt smoke but things were getting out of control so I used a patch about 1pm today... I shouldn't let work stress me out but I do...so I used a patch and still have it on as Im writing this... But I didn't bum a ciggie from anyone at work, which is easy to do since about 90% of the people smoke... Tomorrow will be better! Jon That's right...you have to take care of your quit, no matter what anybody else does. I almost got out of bed last night to write that to you...lol If you think John might have slipped, it would be good to let him know that it is not the end of quitting, and encourage him to get right back on that pony. Are you listening, John? Good that your wife is on board tho. That makes it easier. I read something recently about the allele1 gene being linked to addictive behaviors, that's why some very few people can just smoke every once in awhile, while most of us can't. Anyways, you're doing great....and plan for that 6 yr anniversary getaway! -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,280 Amount Saved: $557.60 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 12 Mins: 46 Seconds: 55

ha. wow! my wife quit smoking too, but she's one of those 'take it or leave it' types and it doesn't drive her insane like me. She's lucky. We always wanted to go to Hawaii on our honeymoon. We've been married about 5 years now lol. We are in Wichita, KS which is the Air Capital of the world but ironically has some of the highest airfares in the country lol. I wonder how John did today, he never returned to the forum and I worry that he caved. But I can only worry about my quit. I'm doing this. Hey Jon By my calculations, depending on where you are, you'll have plane fare in 60-100 days..just saying -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,280 Amount Saved: $557.60 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 12 Mins: 34 Seconds: 35

Life is not fair..but you know that already Hey 2 Jo(h)ns If you want a laugh and are trying to kill some time, check out "Slipping from SSC" in the "Preventing Relapse and Slipping Forum" There's some good one-liners in there...lots of pages, but I think the middle pages are chock-full....like maybe pages 8-19? Also, since you two are June quitters you might want to organize a June Quitter's Group. It's kind of nice to have a pack to run with...hehehe Me, I'm a member of the March Mellows and we have some celebrations and parties..whenever we feel like it, but also to celebrate each other's milestones Anyways.....just a few suggestions to keep you young ones out of mischief :p -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,280 Amount Saved: $557.60 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 10 Mins: 13 Seconds: 30
