CONGRATS on completion of your first week ! Tough - YES. Worth it to hang in and be tough ??? YES ! It's only as bad as you make it. Pull strength from the reasons why you quit, review that list daily !!! Nobody has EVER come here and said, WOW this first week has rocked.... You can do it - look around this place ! :) CobenFan My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 363 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,276 Amount Saved: $1270.5 Life Gained: Days: 34 Hrs: 12 Mins: 43 Seconds: 17

Hi Kayla, I also have a 14 year old daughter. Almost drove me to smoke a few times! It does get easier. Set your mind to it and do it. The hardest week is over. Hi Kayla I know exactly how you feel, I have a 17 year, 18 year old and a 9 year old. Plus I have a husband who loves to push those buttons and then laugh when you get angry. So much fun. But you know what, we are stronger and wiser and we can do this. You stay strong girl and we'll get through this together! Have a super weekend! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 567 Amount Saved: $110 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 9 Mins: 36 Seconds: 58

thanks everyone! I finally made it to day 7. It hasn't been easy but it's getting better. I still have my mood swings and now my kid is pushing her luck. I had a rough night with her and had to postpone my weekend plans. Stress Stress Stress... She's 14 years old and being a typical teenager. Oh well I'm doing ok and sorry to vent but I know most of you can understand. Have a great weekend hang in there and I'll try to log on tonight thanks again for all the support! Hi Kayla! I did the patch and didnt sleep with it on either. PLEASE make sure you follow the ENTIRE COURSE. Being emotional is part of breaking the addiction. Shoot, I had some many temper tantrums, crying fests, rants, etc I swore I was going crazy. Luckily, the folks here understood.... Stand your ground and never GIVE UP!!!
