Ki is Celebrating 4 Months!

Great,Congradulations!! I can't wait till I have 4 months. I have been having some craves that make me recall the first week of my quit. Thank goodness they don't last as long. I always hated that feeling in the pit of my stomach. Do you still crave? Tell me some of the advantages of 4 months vs 1 month. JDK Thread #10

Hey Kev, Congrats on 4 weeks, I know how hard that is to do and you are looking good!!! About the negative thing. I know there is two sides to ever story but for me the positive side is the only one to look at now. The demon talks enough sh** to me anyway. If I let negative thoughts enter the clouds start to turn dark. I'll just leave those for you to figure out. I hope you are as proud of your 4 weeks as I am my 5. Let's keep it going!!! What are the price of ciggs in your area?

Oklahoma ~~ Virginia Slims~~$4.00 ~~ 20 pack. We have Indian Smoke Shops that avoid some of the state taxes but the same 20 pack of Virginia Slims is $3.60 That was the price 6 weeks ago. I don't know now. I try to avoid looking when I pay for gas. La Bistro

I'll take an iced tea and tell you about my last week. Since I'm only 5 weeks into this and the first three were not too good and the forth was somewhat better but the fifth has been real good. I kept my Grand kids for 5 days in a row. I didn't worry about sneaking around trying to smoke and we had several discussions about smoking. They are ages 11, 8 & 3. They took the adventure into the SSC site and got all excited about my quit. They even had rewards for my 30 day milestone. It can't get much better than having your grand kids think what you are doing is cool!!!!My house smells good and they told me how bad it used to stink. I got tons of hugs because I don't smell like smoke any more. My biggest reward so far is a closer family. Thursday night Bonfire!

Hey Bobbi, I'll bring fresh tomato's and peppers from my garden. They smell and taste yummy. Now that I no longer smoke I am enjoying the smell and taste of things more. I have written down all the negative thoughts the nicodemon has put in my head this week and have them in a jar. I will throw them in the fire tonight. This is my first bonfire. looking forward to it and thanks for the invitation. Addicts

NO ~ it does not make you a bad person to be addicted. It does make you a strong person to fight an addiction and win. That's what we are. Strong people fighting by the minute, hour, Day. Bear, you have so many threads to answer I don't have time to crave today.LOL BLUE CLOUD My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/4/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 36 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 720 Amount Saved: $144.00 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 20 Mins: 45 Seconds: 51
