Hi andy

Thanks Casey-I am absolutely drained from yesterday.
If i did not had this site i would have been off smoking again that for sure.. It was a bit hard to find anyone online as the time difference-I was lucky to have shevie on. However i was just browsing through and it did help to see others going through the same. an their way of coping..
This drug is TERRIBLE to beat!!
I start to get that feeling again..
Have to leave the computer....

Hi there
I too had this problem of giving up then taking a smoke and back to square one again..
I am sick of this --going over and over again of the first Hell week  CG have you been on this site before?? It seems like its the best site ever for support! Stay in touch log in often we can do it..
Rusty i agree we are like junkies but smoking has less stigma with it as it is readily sold and accepted into the society..

Hi
I had a terrible 8 days --maybe only a few hours have been good.
At work im sort of "off" in conversations, people think im unintrested?
or maybe think im rude?? Get a bit of paranoid here.
I have a itchy scalp in fact it itch all over (not all the times)
Then this headache. YES i drink water think i drank 6 liter yesterday?
I ate lollies and popcorn, chocholate, nuts etc
I was soo anxious that i threw up in the evening.
I craved so much that i could not sit in one spot even 5 minutes, I was off work luckily.
Today im off to work-was thinking of calling in sick? then i thought no im better off going --keep my mind busy.
I slept until midday together with my cat :) (working pm shift)
I do not know if i can make or stand it any longer..
What shall i do???
My GLOVE COMPARTMENT ---Should be named NUT DEPARTMENT..
going crazy
(well what to expect of 26 years of smoking and 35-44 a day?)

Darcy im sorry i did not posted earlier
I went through a tough time yesterday
I am so sorry to hear that you slipped--however do not see your self as a failure or believe that you can not succeed in quitting.
see this as a learning experience and go on-->DO YOU WANT TO BE SMOKE FREE?? Is the question you have to ask yourself first (of course all smokers really wish they never had started in the first place) OK> NOW!!
Tell yourself that it will be hard the first days and then get easier I believe ( i made it to about 3 months as longest in these 26 years) DO not let that knowledge put you off now!!
NO--see it as ok--it will be hard the first 2 weeks then easier--then maybe occassionally some hard days--and by about 100 days (what I did not now and according to postages in here it come a new time of craving about 3 months (100 days) what i had! If i knew that and had this support group in here and read peoples posts i would of been prepared.. Thats why you need to stay with us--to gain knowledge, support, and also have a feeling of that you can do it.
To comment of my above writing of craving times-it could be different from person to person however it give you a sort of guideline as there are soo many in here that report the same.
DARCY--start over again--you can do it---
I have smoked 26 years 30-44 a day
given up approx 7-8 times
Once made it to 3 months
DO NOT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF --just letting you know how HEAVY ADDICTED I BEEN!! I still go through HELL some days--and if i didnt found this group on the net i would not have so many for support as i have now..
Please Darcy--start again and stay with us--YOU CAN DO IT!!!

:) HI ALL YOU GUYS ROCK
THANKS!!! JUST LET YOU KNOW THAT I DID NOT SMOKE--
I went to work--But you will laugh about what happened--I got a such a itch ...> ALL OVER--IT turned in to some sort of hives
it was like i had creepy crawlies all over.. :(
Im on ZYBAN--so i was not sure--but been on them for 23 days (so it couldnt be them)??
However I went to ED--I was itchy and red all over--and really bad--
I got a drip in my arm and hydrocortison-stayed a few hours--and went home. So i got off my work earlier--now its not itchy but im really tired from that antihistamine--so i go to bed..
Thanks all ---WHAT A DAY--
By the way---My Glove Depatment --I thought earlier when i was showing my tantrums here with zazz who started this thread --that it could be my NUT Department--But now im ok--and happy again--
I throwed the herb in the kerb as chickstarr wrote
Thanks all--ill be back soon--hopefully with better attitude than i had earlier--sorry
