TODAY IS MY QUIT DATE!

How's it going today Matt? You have made a fantastic decision, and in my opinion there isn't a better place to come for support than this place... Just keep reading, posting and most important of all, protect your quit above all other things right now!! You CAN do it!! Now I'm starting to do some real damage.

Hi AM - Sorry you are feeling like this...I agree with what the others are saying, definitely get down the surgery and find out what's going on!! Whatever you do, don't use any situation as an excuse to start smoking again - that will not make you feel better, you will feel absolutely awful on top of everything else.... Keep us posted how it's working out ok? NRT is doing my head in

Well, hopefully it's ok to rant a bit...I am a few hours in to this day and it's BAD!! I am biting everyone's head off, miserable and the worst thing is someone telling you what you should do to feel better - like I had a suggestion to go to the gym or get a new hobby, and I got so cross!! Yes I want to go to the gym and develop new interests, but right now I don't want to do anything!! I want to hide, and be a complete slob!! Tell me please this will pass...this has been a bit of a shock as I thought I was doing really well on my quit - well I know I am, I just don't feel so bright...ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! That's better....thanks for bearing with me lol!! NRT is doing my head in

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and support!! Well I have just woken up and have had a cup of tea (ran out of coffee :() and feel ok so far. Just reading through your posts gives me the strength I need and your thoughts on the matter really do help...thanks!! It's too early in the day (literally) for me to decide what I'm going to do, but I think common sense is telling me (and so are some of you) that I shouldn't change anything till I feel a bit better...I will keep posting here obviously (this really is a lifeline)....I am so looking forward to being 100% nic free tho'!!
