Sophie,
Thanks for sharing your story and your wonderful insight. You are right you are not alone. There are many individuals from the online support group that have the same concerns and questions as you.
Feel free to browse around the site and use some of our "tools", including our Panic Program. It is very helpful and easy to follow. Feel free to post anytime. We are all here to support our fellow members.
Keep strong,
Josie
JM,
We at The Panic Center feel that a chat line would create discussions that would not pertain to Panic and Anxiety. This is a extremely busy site where people from all over the world post their questions and concerns with regards to Panic and Anxiety.
If you want to find a chat room, you may have to try a search engine like Yahoo or Google. If you would like to chat directly with another member, you will need to approach them and see if this is something that they are interested in. (Switching e-mail addresses or msn )
If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us anytime.
Josie

JEFF,
You have come to the right place! Please continue to share your thoughts with us. There are many people within this support group that share the same questions and concerns as you. We are all a group of individuals who support each other.
If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead.
These tests may or may not be for you but they are "free". If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact Susanne or me at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
JOSIE
Lucy,
Please remember you are not the only that feels this way. Other online members and individuals share the same concerns and feelings as yourself.
Are you trying the "Panic Program" found to the left of your screen. Many individuals have told us how helpful it has been. It may be worth a try.
You may also want to take our "Panic Test". The results can be printed or e-mailed to your doctor. This will better help assess the situation, and possibly assist with medication dosages and theraputic assistance.
Don't give in to the Panic. Fight back use the tools at hand, and the online support group!
Most of relax, and go slow. Post often, we are always here for you,
Josie
freedom,
You are on the right track. You school counsellor may possibly help, but can also advise you where there are clinics and therapists that specialize in panic and anxiety. Try all avenues and get the assisstance needed.
Make sure you take our Panic Test and bring it with you. This will better assess the situation, for you and your doctor.
Hope this helps,
Josie

Freedom,
That could be some of the reasons. Pressures of a new school, puberty, hormones, can all factor into the equation. Talk to your doctor and in the meantime do some relaxation techniques. Read a book, go for a jog, take a hot bath, go to the gym. Take whatever relaxes you and do it when you wake up in the morning, so you have a fresh outlook on the day. Also, do your relaxtion before bed. This will calm you down from your day's activities.
Try your doctor as well as see what is suggested.
Keep us informed, we are here to help.
Josie
Nick,
Thanks for sharing your story with us today. As you can see there is lots of support here and many individuals that can relate to your story. The "Panic Program" is very helpful, and many members have advised of it's success.
It is great to hear that you have started our Panic Program. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to post them here in the support group or e-mail us at support@paniccenter.net.
Nick, The Panic Center also has a sister site called the "The Depression Center". You can visit this site at www.depressioncenter.net. Here you will find our Depression Test. Again, this test is not a diagnostic tool and is not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor.
Take the "Panic and Depression Tests". Bring the results to your doctor. This will help better assess your situation. This will also help with medication prescription and any counselling. It is wonderful that you have a supportive partner and that she is there to help. Try the different avenues mentioned and keep us updated. We are here to help and listen.
You are a great writer, keep posting,
Josie
