Social Anixety Disorder

Welcome Mich, You have come to the right place! Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact Susanne, Melanie or me at support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialists for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. You also have a great team of online people for amazing support. Remember, we are here to help. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Josie

Anyway to get control?

Lzee, Have you spoken with your doctor about your anxiety attacks, if not please try our Anxiety Test. Our Anxiety Test is a free diagnostic tool. The purpose of the test is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. An important note to remember is that our Anxiety Test is not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. If you have any questions or concerns with this test, please contact our support team at support@paniccenter.net. Please continue posting with us, Josie

Too disjointed

Dear CQ953, There are different types of therapy out there. Some therapies involve talking about the past in an attempt to understand the problem and develop some strategies for coping, etc. The Panic Program is not talk therapy. It's not about medications either. It's a treatment program that's all about getting you "actively involved" in your own improvement. Thank you for being so honest, and we are here if you need us, at any time. Josie

That was my clinical advice, my compassionate advice is as follows: Post as often as you can, the supporters on this site have a world of experience. They are also the most supportive people you have ever met. You will also be able to relate to many others and help them through their journey. Take it nice and slow, Josie

Question for Aldred...

HI DANIELLE, Sorry for intruding on your conversation. Have you looked at our "Reference Tools" on the left hand side, especially the Panic Program. All these references are free. We have had quite a bit of positive feedback from on-line supporters that have used our tools to guide them through. Please continue to post, as you can already see, our on-line support group is incredible. Hope this helps, Josie
