This is Day 8 for me...it really hasn't been all that bad up till today. I had some medical problems and was in a lot of pain and taking medication Days 4-6, so really wasn't thinking at all about smoking.
My son was going to quit with me on Oct 1st and he did real good the first 3 days, but when he had to take me to the ER on Monday (thinking I was having a heart attack or stoke...I wasn't) he bummed one from a stranger at the hospital then went and bought some...He assures me his new quit date is 10-10-10 (tomorrow).
I think just knowing he is smoking and when he gets home from work he has cigs on him..... It just tends to make me nervous.
So I am rambling now but think I will be okay by tomorrow. I believe I will just go to bed early tonight and start a new day Sunday....

I am better today, keeping busy by just walking around the yard, reading a book and reading posts here on the site.
I believe my son has quit smoking..I noticed the empty pack out in the trash with a few left, broken up and wet. He is still asleep so that is probably the best thing for him.
I am still with ya..the shoulder is still really painful the medicine doesn't seem to be helping much, I will probably go back to the Doc on Friday. I have to use computer while at work so when @ home don't feel too much up to it. I read a few posts but it hurts to move the mouse around...
I'll keep in touch when I can....
