This is my first post to a forum at the Stop Smoking Center. I recently joined SCC to add another tool in my effort to quit smoking for good. I'm participating in a smoking cessation program offered through my health insurance plan. There are about 20 of us in the group who quit smoking on September 17th. I pray a daily rosary for everyone in the group with the intention that we will receive the help we need to stay tobacco free for good. I will add the SCC prayer chain members to that intention and ask that you pray for our group in Portland, Oregon.
Dominus vobiscum,
(The Lord be with you)

Hi Elise,
I'm sorry that you had a bad time of it. I remind myself that when the cravings are strong putting something in my mouth and lighting it on fire is not going to change the situation that triggered the craving.
Thank you for your honesty. If it were me, I would reset my meter so thinking about resetting it would no longer be an issue. Prayers and best wishes for you to remain smoke-free.
