Hi and welcome, There is nothing to be afraid of when you quit smoking. No smokepolice or anyone is coming after you.LOL AHH MAYBE PHIL !!! kcfangirl, you and your husband have made a very wise choice to give up smoking.Do whatever and however to stop this bad habit, this habit is the only thing you should be afraid of. Come here and read ,post read, post, and get on your ways to a healther and happier life togather and hopefully alot more years togather.Remember 90% of stopping smoking is attitude, set your mind to it and you can do it. Monday Parade

Good smokefree Monday to everyone.I took the liberty to reset my quitmeter to my orginal start date.I had slipped a couple of times around the first week of April but only had a few smokes. It has bothered me,that I had changed it with the few slips that I had.I am totally smokefree and will always keep nic at bay. Thanks Smokey

Is it like alcoholism ?

They are both KILLERS.They destroy not only the users life but also innocent bystanders. You could consider them as brothers of death,as they both cause alot of sorrow and death.HEED this advice ,if you dont do either of these dont start,if you do ,then STOP !!!!
