my name is mike im new to this i have had panic attacks for 7 years now.I got the information about this site after completing a CBT class. I hope to get even better, and hopefully help others that have simalier feelings.
i have been suffering from anxiety for 7 to 8 years. i am still on clonazepam, but i am alot better then i was 4 years ago..my question is, i want to pursue my dream of becoming a police officer, but im worried that they will not accept me becouse of my occasional anxiety.is there any police officers here with anxiety or anybody with information that could help me? i would really appreciate it. thanks, Mike.
i have a qustion... for the past week i have been feeling tired and i get 8 to 9 hours of sleep. is this part of anxiety cuz its begging to worry me

Thanks for all your help.. its just for the past week my anxiety had been at high levels. I have been missing a lot of work and I have been feeling feelings that I havent felt for a long time and I cant control them maybe its because where I live it is very hot and humid here and my body is reacting different I really dont know Im just scared for some reason.
Hey... im also afraid of the dentist and I need to go cuz I have a cavity and I dont know what to expect cuz I never went to the dentist in my life but I was thinking of laughing gas has anybody ever went to the dentist and used laughing gas
never been to guinecologist but ill take ur work for it lol I just worry cuz what if he has me on the chair then starts to do the work then I go on a panic thats what crossed my mind already lol

I have experienced a similar situation as you. I am now 26 years old, and i have been suffering from anxiety attacks since i was 18 as well. As far as medication goes, i found it wasnt for me, and it made me a lil worse, but everyone has a different experience. I currently take only one pill now at night before i go to bed. I am not sure about finacial help, i dont know where u are from, but the U.S, offers alot more programs for plp. dealing with anxiety then in Cananda, where i am from. I was also without a job for a long time, and i was unable to leave my house as well. One thing that really helped me was the CBT course. I have been trying to take small steps, and do things one day at a time. I am now working only part time, for the past three years. I suggest the CBT course, if you feel you are able to do it, because it helped me alot, and i am now able to do many things, that i wasnt able to do like before.
