Oral surgery is a great time to quit. I thought I could get by with just smoking a couple and I got dry socket which is EXTREMELY painful!!! Please save yourself from this!

new, suggestions on quit aids?

Hi there. Day 4 quitter here and the struggle is real! I've been using Chantix and I'm getting ready to start the 3rd week of pills. If you have insurance, it's free so that's a bonus. I've found it can make me nauseous so I really have to eat and drink a glass of water with it to help curb the nausea. However, I will say that before I even fully quit the Chantix was working. The cigarettes didn't taste as good and I could really smell them. It's working so far for me!
Good luck everyone!

smoking while driving

I have had the same problem! I have been chewing mint flavored gum to and from work. I also got a book on CD (I'm old school) from the library to listen to and take my mind off the fact I'm driving a car and not smoking.
