I?ll start here.

I have been smoking since I was 15 and only thought of quitting when I got COPD. I never thought it would get to that.
I quit for a short time, then got pneumonia, I quit again for about 4 months. A family wedding helped me to start again.
Now I have been fighting bronchitis for about a month now and quit dec 23rd, only yesterday I ran into a friend who offered
me a cigarette, I told him I'd quit but after a couple of offers, I found myself holding a cigarette and smoking it. This morning
I bought a pack. I smoked most of them, while talking to a good friend on line, he convinced me to shred the rest and give it up.
So here I am quitting again, this site was recommended to me as a good place to be. I am 59 years old and want to quit smoking.
I'm having a hard time finding my way here so I'm just following the prompts for now and reading.
I surely need to quit right now and am happy to be here.

Today is day 1

I feel good about quitting and have set my mind that I am in control. I bit frustrating but I know it will pass.

Today is day 1

I'm finding it hard to follow the program, I am not very computer friendly. Today I just was crabby most of the day, but working a double shift helped. Did alot of crashing of things, putting away the orders etc...

Today was difficult.

Day 4 and feeling very irritable and cranky. Got through it by working harder and concentrating on whatever I was doing. The craves came in waves. I wish they would go away. Have been eating my way through it
on my breaks and lunch, reading and eating. I am skinny so I can afford some weight. Just hope I don't over do it. Anger is overwhelming me today. I feel empty and lost.

Today was difficult.

I had one today, day 7. I find the cravings increased today. It is my day off and though I kept busy cooking and buying groceries I finally did have one. Do I have to start over? or can I just continue my quit?
I feel like I did a bad thing.
