Congratulations Banana! You are following the steps, and you will be successful. Besides, you have all of us on your side...not to mention all of us to answer to if something unexpected happens (which it won't). Your attitude is amazing, and I hope to be the first to congratulate you on the first 30 days. Such a big accomplishment...the first of many. Keep it up, you are fantastic! This is me, standing on my soapbox... It was 3 weeks ago today that I smoked my last cigarette & I don't know how to put into words the way I feel. Empowered, free, cleaner, smarter, grateful & proud. :)Alanna :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 20 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 511 Amount Saved: $162.2 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 3 Mins: 59 Seconds: 37

Banana, That's it! You've got the idea! Replace old habits with new ones and the new ones become second nature! Danielle _____________________ The SSC Support Team

Hi Nance, I was just over at Bears' congratulating him on his milestone & read your reply. In the end I took your advice & ripped them to bits & threw them away. I really shouldn't have smelled them like I did because now I feel light headed. You were right...so was Danielle, I don't need to hang on to them. Danielle, you touched on something that I had totally forgotten. Through our Peer Councilling at work, the leader said that it only takes a person 21 days to break a habit, or to start a new healthy habit. So it makes perfect sense to do little things in situations where I used to smoke, so in time it won't even enter my mind. Thank you again & have a great day. Alanna :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/2/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 18 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 465 Amount Saved: $145.98 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 23 Mins: 15 Seconds: 45
