Loved reading that over again Pen.  Thank you for outlining how beautiful it was.  What do other members plan on doing on their one year mark?  You do not have to be as beautifully descriptive as ladycigevictor, but we won't mind if you are.

This is why all the pain, all the hurt and all the heartache are worth every ounce of fight and effort.

"For my 2 year celebration I went to a very small secluded pueblo, off the beaten path with a beach that was almost deserted.  My kind of place...I stayed in a small motel on the ocean.  The people were friendly, the food delicious and the view from the open patio restaurant overlooking the ocean was divine.  I walked in the waves and treasure hunted on the beach until the sun was setting.  The warm ocean breeze swayed the palms as I floated in the pool looking up at the stars twinkling and a sliver of the new moon shone overhead...it was truly a magical celebration."

The rewards are immense and Pat captures in only a few words the very essence of what we are doing for ourselves. In just two years she has turned everything around and that scene says it all.

There is a new life out there for you, a better life way beyond your wildest smoke-filled dreams. We all have truly magical days ahead. Don't dither - seize them!

In all the thousands of posts that I have read here in 5 years, this last paragraph from Pat's "2-year thank you" thread has moved me more than most.

Kicking the waves with you Pat – all the best.

Pen x
